Banfora is a city located in the south western part of Burkina Faso. It is about 85 kilometres (53 mi) from where I’m staying, in the city Bobo-Dioulasso. Banfora tends to be a tourist destination for the sights of Les Dômes de Fabédougou and Karfiguela Falls. My work associates and I explored the wonders of these mystical nature formations. Geologists refer these sandstone dome shaped structures as hoodoos. Formed after millions of year by passing water and wind. Just a small distance down the road, we took a nice swim in the Kariguela Falls. Banfora offered a great place to relax and become one with nature.
